  The Parlay Group aims to intimately link IT applications with the capabilities of the telecommunications world by specifying and promoting application programming interfaces (APIs) that are secure, easy to use, rich in functionality, and based on open standards. Parlay integrates telecom network capabilities with IT applications via a secure, measured, and billable interface. Enabled by Parlay's network-independent APIs, applications are generating new revenue streams for network operators, application service providers (ASPs), and independent software vendors (ISVs).
